It is possible to join By Jovi via email or via our Yahoo! Groups website. We recommend that you join By Jovi via our Yahoo! Groups website, as it offers you more features and more control over your membership. By Jovi is completely free to join, and you are not required to contribute to By Jovi -- although all contributions are gratefully received!

We'll be able to help you better if you can explain what you've already tried to do, and if you state what email address you used when you tried to join By Jovi.

Once you have joined By Jovi, you will have full control over your membership, and can change all aspects of your membership yourself, at any time. You can learn what you're able to change, and how to make changes, in the "FAQ" section of our website.

The easiest way to join By Jovi is to send a blank email to: ByJovi-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Joining By Jovi in this way is an entirely automated process, so you must send the blank email from the email address at which you want to receive our email updates.

Once you have sent the blank email, you should receive a confirmation email from Yahoo! Groups within seconds. You must follow the instructions in the confirmation email from Yahoo! Groups. If you do not follow the instructions, you will not be added to By Jovi. This is a security measure so that your email address can't be added to By Jovi without your approval.

When you have followed the instructions within the confirmation email, you will be added to By Jovi, and will then receive our introductory emails. This whole process usually takes only a few seconds, but delays can occur if your ISP has email problems or if Yahoo! Groups is exceptionally busy.

If you want to be able to read and search our message archives, to be able to access files and photos submitted by our members, and to have access to additional membership options, then you will need to join By Jovi via our Yahoo! Groups website: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/ByJovi/join

To join By Jovi via our Yahoo! Groups website, you will need a Yahoo! ID. If you don't already have a Yahoo! ID, it is free to create one, and the registration process will only take you a minute or two to complete. However, if you do not want to create a Yahoo! ID, or if you are unable to sign in to Yahoo!, please see the previous section, and join By Jovi via email instead.

Clicking the link above to join By Jovi will prompt you to sign in to Yahoo!, if you are not already signed in. If you do not have a Yahoo! account, you will need to choose the option to sign up to Yahoo! and create an account. Once you have completed your Yahoo! registration/signed in to Yahoo!, the By Jovi registration form will be displayed.

Our registration form will allow you to choose how you want to receive our email updates. We strongly recommend that you choose "individual emails" for message delivery, and "do not convert to HTML" for message format. Once you've completed our registration form and submitted it, you will be added to By Jovi instantly.

Regardless of what option you choose for message delivery, our introductory emails will be sent to you straight away. (If you choose to only receive special notices, or if you choose to not receive any emails at all, then you won't receive any further emails from us.) You will be able to read and search our message archives, access files and photos submitted by our members, and access additional membership options via our Yahoo! Groups website immediately.

This whole process will only take a few seconds to complete if you already have a Yahoo! ID, otherwise it may take a minute or two.
